One of the most annoying moments with DSH: you switch away to do something else and have no idea whether the turn ended cleanly or silently errored, so you keep glancing back at the terminal. dsh-voice-alert exists for exactly that gap — it plays a short done-sound when any conversation turn finishes and a distinct fail-sound when the turn contained an agent error or a tool failure, so you can stay in your Bluetooth headset and just listen for the cue.

It ships three alert modes: TTS voice using a Volcengine cloned voice reading your own three lines (requires an API key), 20 built-in sound effects (zero config, no key, works out of the box), or fully off. Playback rides the Windows waveOut/WAV path, which in testing does not swallow the first sound, does not cut into music already playing on a Bluetooth headset, and never touches system volume or mute. Per-turn deduplication, error-first logic (a failed turn never also plays done), and a 3-second suppression window after a fail to prevent back-to-back stingers are all handled.

Who it is for: anyone who runs multi-turn DSH sessions, works hands-free on a Bluetooth headset, and wants an audible chime to mean come back now. The default SFX mode plays with zero setup; if you prefer your own voice, drop a cloned-voice ID into the settings page and generate the three clips with one click.
