Agent presets in DeepSeek Harness frequently declare multiple tool rows, yet developers have had no built-in surface to inspect which tools are enabled, which are unavailable, and which are host-controlled at a glance. dsh-agent-manager fills that gap by contributing an Agent Manager section to the Harness settings page, turning opaque JSON into a readable, interactive roster.

It surfaces only the rows that explicitly opt in via agentTool.label in the currently selected preset and annotates each with its live status: host-controlled, not mounted, available, unavailable, or stale. For locally authored presets, users can flip the disabled field directly in the UI; shipped and other system-owned presets remain read-only until copied into a user preset. Policy changes take effect for subsequent sessions, while any session already running keeps the tool composition it started with, eliminating mid-session surprises.

This plugin is best suited for platform developers and preset authors who maintain several agent presets and need to verify tool visibility and enable/disable state quickly. It deliberately stays out of model-provider or metadata management, delegating roster discovery, validation, locking, atomic writes, and runtime status entirely to the Host's ctx.agentPresets service. The client retains only the currently selected preset in local browser storage, keeping the footprint small and responsibilities well-separated.
