The default conversation stats line below the input box in DeepSeek Harness Web UI is a fixed set of segments with hard-coded units and separators. Wanting a different field order, a different compact format, or simply fewer fields was previously awkward to achieve. This plugin hands the entire line over to a single JS template string: compose it with ${ttft}, ${tps}, ${cache}, ${input}, ${output}, ${turns}, ${llm} and other variables, and control every unit, delimiter, and piece of surrounding text yourself. Unknown variables render as-is; variables without data render empty; changes take effect the moment you save.

The data path mirrors the official StatsLine exactly. The plugin shadows the official stats entry in the conversation.composer.dock slot at a lower priority, so it only replaces the presentation layer while the underlying calculations stay untouched. You can configure the template either through the Settings > Plugins > Status Bar Template card (click a variable chip to insert it at the cursor) or by editing the template field under the status-bar-config namespace in ~/.dsh/settings.yaml; both paths are equivalent.

It is a good fit for everyday users who want a leaner stats line, power users with specific token-formatting preferences, and projects migrating off the 0.1 segment toggles or a third-party status-bar plugin. The same status-bar-config namespace is preserved, so existing YAML entries carry over with minimal edits.
