dsh's default three-column layout keeps the spotlight on conversation and code editing, yet real workflows constantly demand switching between file browsing, Git staging, and a terminal. dsh-right_sidebar was built for exactly that gap. It expands the entire frame into a five-column layout so that the file tree, Diff preview, Source Control panel, and terminal dock all live inside the same work window, eliminating the jarring context-switch of hunting through separate windows.

Three panels carry the core value. The right-side file tree renders porcelain status badges from Git, offers a changes-only filter, and lets you toggle between Content and Diff views per file. The Source Control panel groups staged and unstaged files, supports individual or bulk stage and unstage, and commits with a message box. All mutations travel over a loopback RPC channel and are limited to git add, git reset, and git commit; push, pull, and discard are deliberately not exposed. The bottom terminal dock occupies a real grid row, hosts multiple PTY tabs, can be resized by dragging its top edge, and auto-hides when the last session closes.
