The DeepSeek Harness web chat only lets you drag in PNG, JPG, WebP, or GIF images for inline attachment; any other file type is met with a hard rejection toast. dsh-drop-any-file removes that wall: PDFs, CSVs, archives, binaries, source code — drop them and they are caught. Non-image files are written into the active session's workspace directory, where the agent can read, grep, and glob them with its standard file tools. Pure image drops still follow the original inline-attach path, so nothing you already relied on changes.

The plugin intercepts drop events at the capture phase, ahead of the composer's image-only handler, so the old "only images supported" toast never fires. A themed full-window overlay appears while you drag, and a toast after release lists every saved filename or explains failures. File names are sanitised to a basename with illegal path characters stripped; request body and per-file sizes are capped at 80 MB and 60 MB respectively. Writes are strictly scoped to the session workspace, with no network calls, no shell execution, and no disk scanning.

If you regularly use the DSH web interface to hand documents, spreadsheets, code, or archives to your agent and wish it could treat them like local files, this plugin is the lightest bridge: install once, restart, and it persists across every boot without per-session setup.
