Managing Kubernetes clusters usually means stepping away from your current workflow and juggling kubectl commands in a terminal. dsh-k8s brings a Lens-style cluster management interface straight into the DSH conversation view, so you can flip between Chat, Trajectory, and Kubernetes tabs without ever leaving the session you are already working in.

The plugin covers the full breadth of day-to-day cluster operations: add, switch, and remove multiple kubeconfig clusters from a dropdown; browse more than a dozen resource types including Pods, Deployments, StatefulSets, Jobs, Services, Ingresses, ConfigMaps, Secrets, Nodes, and Namespaces with per-namespace filtering; inspect any resource YAML and tail logs in a dedicated detail panel; drop into an interactive Pod shell built on xterm.js and node-pty for in-container debugging; and perform write operations such as restarting workloads, scaling replica counts, and editing plus applying YAML with a second-confirmation guard. Every kubectl call runs against your local binary with no remote service in the middle, and each cluster config is stored under ~/.kube/configs/ so the plugin never overwrites your existing ~/.kube/config.

If you already live inside DSH for daily development and frequently need a quick glance at cluster state, a service restart, a scale-up, or a dive into a Pod to chase down a flaky container, dsh-k8s keeps those operational steps in the same session and removes the constant context-switching cost.
