DeepSeek Harness currently offers only three session actions: rename, fork, and archive. In practice, archiving simply hides a session from the sidebar while every log file under ~/.dsh/sessions/ stays on disk indefinitely. As that folder grows over time, truly removing a session means diving into the file system by hand, which is both tedious and a little nerve-wracking.

dsh-session-delete fills that gap by injecting a "Delete Session" entry into the ... menu on each session row, styled in the same red danger look used elsewhere for destructive actions. A two-step confirmation dialog must be completed before anything is removed, and only then are all on-disk records for that session permanently wiped. Multiple safety layers are in place: sessions that are running or currently open are blocked on both the browser and host sides, the target directory is strictly validated to match the session ID to prevent path traversal, and the HTTP endpoint accepts only same-origin POST requests.

This plugin is a good fit for DSH users who have built up a large library of historical sessions and want a clean, deliberate "delete" in contrast to the passive "archive." If you would rather not open a terminal to hand-delete directories each time you clean up, or if you simply prefer archive and delete to be unambiguous, this small addition completes a piece of the workflow that the upstream left open.
