Out of the box, the DeepSeek Harness conversation bar shows nine metrics at once — turns, steps, LLM time, tool-call time, TTFT, decode throughput, cache-hit rate, input tokens, and output tokens. That is thorough, but there is no built-in way to hide a single item; trimming the display previously meant patching Harness source code. dsh-status-bar-config turns that into a simple toggle list. It shadows the native composer.dock entry using the same stats id at a lower public-slot priority, so the original layout and styling are fully preserved while each metric becomes independently visible or hidden.

Everything is managed from the Settings → Plugins → Conversation statistics panel, and changes take effect immediately without a restart. All metrics are on by default in standard order, the UI follows the active DSH English or Chinese locale, and the plugin prefers durable whole-session projections, falling back transparently to the shipped loaded-window when projections are unavailable.

It is built for two kinds of users: developers debugging agent behaviour who only care about TTFT and tokens/second, and everyday users who find nine flashing numbers overwhelming and just want to track token usage. No source-code edits — open the settings panel and toggle the items you need.
