A single prompt can spawn a hundred tool calls and pages of chain-of-thought, turning the message stream into an unwieldy wall of text. dsh-plugin-response-window collects the think blocks and tool calls within a turn into a compact, internally scrollable window (ten lines by default), slicing them into slides at each interim text response the model returns. Text responses themselves stay fully expanded and native, with no height cap or collapse button. Unlike one-click summary plugins, nothing here is hidden: every line of reasoning, every parameter, every output remains one click away.

Each slide header shows a count of tool calls and Think entries with a status badge; the body interleaves think and tool-call lines in true output order, each rendered as a one-line summary that expands on click. While execution is in progress, the slide auto-scrolls to the bottom. Under the hood the plugin uses slot shadows and CSS classes at the React layer, reads the session snapshot without writing, never mutates the DOM row structure, and gracefully abdicates back to built-in rendering if anything goes wrong.
