LLM-generated Markdown tables often come back with misaligned columns and inconsistent spacing, making them awkward to read and edit. dsh-md-table-formatter hooks into the end of every turn, detects unaligned GFM tables in assistant replies, and swaps them for neatly aligned versions on the model-visible surface — while the raw output stays intact in the append-only session log for full traceability.

Column widths are calculated in Unicode codepoints, so CJK and full-width characters are automatically weighted as two columns, keeping mixed Chinese-English tables properly aligned. All three alignment modes (left, right, centered) are supported, and content inside code fences is safely skipped to avoid mangling code blocks. A configurable minColumns threshold lets you exclude very narrow tables from formatting, reducing unnecessary interference.

This plugin is a quiet quality-of-life upgrade for anyone who regularly generates or edits multi-column Markdown tables inside DeepSeek Harness — think documentation drafting, data report creation, or README maintenance. It runs in the background after each turn, requires no manual steps, and does not affect token accounting or safe session replay.
