dsh-chat-index-rail

Scrolling back and forth through a long conversation to find one specific input is tedious. dsh-chat-index-rail adds a lightweight floating rail to the right edge of the DSH Web UI chat window: every user input gets one horizontal bar, stacked in conversation order, turning endless scrolling into a quick glance and click.

Hover a bar and a tooltip shows the first 15 characters; move the cursor into the tooltip and it expands to 40. Click any bar and the chat pane smooth-scrolls to that message. While you scroll, the bar nearest the top of the viewport stays highlighted in the brand color so you always know where you are. Only genuine human inputs are indexed, keeping the rail clean of compaction records or plugin-injected context.

Being a pure client-side plugin, it has no host logic, needs no approval, and persists across restarts. It is ideal for anyone who runs long, multi-turn sessions and frequently needs to revisit earlier inputs or cross-reference context.
