DSH users often want CodeBuddy (IOA) models such as deepseek-v4-pro, glm-5.2, kimi-k3-1, and minimax-m3 in their everyday workflow, but Harness has no native CodeBuddy auth or discovery pipeline. Stitching OAuth by hand, babysitting token expiry, and hand-parsing model catalogs is tedious and fragile. dsh-codebuddy-auth collapses all of that into a single native ctx.llm adapter: one browser login, and every downstream request is handled for you.

After the initial login the plugin keeps your session alive through a three-layer renewal strategy. At startup it silently renews tokens that will expire within five minutes; while DSH is running it checks every thirty minutes; and if the refresh token itself is invalidated (password change, revocation, etc.) a one-word prompt tells you to re-authenticate. The model catalog is cached for five minutes and refreshed on demand, so newly released models appear without touching any configuration. Each model also carries its real reasoning metadata pulled from the /v3/config endpoint, meaning the picker shows every supported effort level and the model's default rather than a one-size-fits-all value.

This plugin is a good fit if you already run agent workflows in DSH and want CodeBuddy-ecosystem models as a drop-in option you can flip to at will, or if you simply want to stop managing API keys and token refreshes by hand. Both the China and international editions are supported behind a single install.
