DSH Web's dark and light modes are usually two disjointed appearances. The Krill theme merges both into a single pure-client-side CSS plugin: dark mode is a deep-sea world where brightness encodes importance (the brighter, the more important), while light mode is a shallow-sea world where clarity carries the same weight (the clearer, the more important). Both palettes live in one stylesheet with mutually exclusive selectors and follow the system appearance automatically—no dist modifications, no component logic touched.

The chat bar carries a lightweight, current-driven plankton animation: particles drift in a shared direction with periodic flow shifts, quiet enough to sit behind reading without distraction. During generation the plankton enter a deep-dive mode—velocity spikes to a near-vertical surge, brighter micro-particles rise from the bottom edge, and a soft glow on the panel breathes in rhythm—turning the wait into part of the experience. A jellyfish button in the corner of the chat bar opens a real-time parameter panel where particle count, opacity, flow speed, dive multiplier, and more can be adjusted instantly without a restart. Roughly 95+ CSS custom properties are redefined once on body, and the sidebar, dock, code highlighting, and status colours all follow suit.
